The guided tour Frederick Law Olmsted’s Legacy: Exploring the Therapeutic Value of Mount Royal<\/em> will take visitors from the garden of the Hospitali\u00e8res to the Camillien-Houde lookout via the eastern slope of Mount Royal Park. The tour will take place on Saturday, September 28, in collaboration with Les Amis de la montagne<\/em>.[vc_empty_space height=”10px”]<\/p>\n

Historical Tour of the Hospitali\u00e8res Garden<\/h4>\n

Visit the \u201csecret\u201d garden of the Monastery of the Hospitali\u00e8res of Saint-Joseph, a true oasis of peace hidden behind a stone wall in the heart of the city. Discover the garden\u2019s history, from a nourishing plot in 1861 to the decorative garden we know today. You will also learn about the heritage buildings of the H\u00f4tel-Dieu.<\/p>\n

This two-part activity allows you to visit the temporary exhibition Notre montagne. M\u00e9moires du mont Royal<\/em>, followed by a discovery of public art pieces that dot Mount Royal Park. This event is presented in collaboration with Art Public Montr\u00e9al<\/em>.<\/p>\n
