The Mus\u00e9e des Hospitali\u00e8res de l\u2019H\u00f4tel-Dieu takes the opportunity to present the documentary \u201cAutour de la montagne\u201d, directed by Paul Carvalho as part of a series of five films Montr\u00e9al, mon amour, mon histoire<\/em>. The film will be screened continuously throughout the day on February 4th starting at 10 a.m.! In addition, you can take the opportunity to discover the temporary exhibition Our Mountain. Memory of Mount Royal<\/a> and visit the old chapel-church of the Hospitali\u00e8res for free. \u201cAround 1875, the notables of Montreal were outraged to witness the wild felling of trees on Mount Royal. It was then that we decided to create a huge park to safeguard this majestic mountain. Montreal hires American landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, creator of New York’s Central Park.
