Starring: Pascale Bussières and Alexis Martin lasting 74 minutes. Synopsis: Montreal was born from a dream, that of people who believed in the possibility of creating a better world in New France. Who were these people? What ideal were they pursuing and why? The answers lie in a 17th-century manuscript that is believed to be the hidden memoirs of Jeanne Mance. With an original and personal look, the filmmaker revisits this story where the past resonates with a desire that is still relevant today to create a world closer to humanist values.

Conference : Retrace Jeanne Mance’s footsteps in France, especially in her hometown Langres, with Documentarist Annabel Loyola.
